Soru Çözücü Privacy Policy

In short: no account needed, your question photos are not stored on our servers and are deleted once the solution is ready. The free version shows a Google AdMob ad below the solution; Premium has no ads.

Who we are

Soru Çözücü is developed by Testanbul. For any privacy question or request: info@testanbul.com.

What we process

• The question you send: only the part of the photo you frame, whether you take it with the camera or pick it from your library. It is processed only to solve the question; it is not stored on our servers and is never written to logs. When you tap "Explain simpler", the solution text is sent again for the same purpose.
• Camera and photos: the camera is only used while you snap a question. From your library we can only see the photo you pick; we never access the rest of your library.
• Wrong-solution reports: if you tap "Report a wrong solution", we keep the following to improve our solutions: the question text read from the photo (not the photo itself), the exam/subject/topic labels, the answer given, the model's confidence score, the reason you chose, your note if any, your anonymous ID and the time. The latest 5,000 reports are kept and older ones are deleted.
• Anonymous user ID: on first launch the app gets a random ID and keeps it on your phone. We never ask for your name, email, phone number or contacts.
• Usage counters: to apply your free daily limit we count how many questions you solved that day (and how many times you asked for a simpler explanation); the counters are deleted within 2 days.
• Technical logs: IP address and request time are kept for a short period to prevent abuse and overload; question content never goes into these logs.
• Subscription status: if you buy Premium, Apple or Google Play handles the payment and we never see your card. Whether your subscription is active is checked through RevenueCat using your anonymous ID.
• Ads: the free version shows a Google AdMob ad below the solution. To show and measure ads, AdMob processes your device's advertising ID (the Android advertising ID; on iOS the IDFA only if you allow tracking), IP address and device information. In Europe your consent is asked first; on iOS, if you don't allow tracking, non-personalised ads are shown. Your question photos and solutions are never used for ads.
• Stays on your phone: your language and app settings are stored only on your device.

Who we share it with

We share only the minimum needed to run the service, with these providers:

• Anthropic (USA): solutions are written by Anthropic's Claude AI model, so the question you send is passed to Anthropic for that purpose. Anthropic does not use it to train models and may keep it only for a limited period for safety, as set out in its commercial terms.
• Hetzner: the infrastructure provider hosting our servers.
• RevenueCat, Apple and Google Play: subscription purchases, renewals and restores.
• Google (AdMob): ads in the free version. How Google uses data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

What we don't do

• We don't store or look at your question photos.
• We don't sell your data. Your question photos and solutions are never used for advertising or profiling.
• There is no third-party analytics in the app; the only third-party ad tool is AdMob in the free version.

Age

Soru Çözücü is for students aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you are under 18, we recommend using the app with a parent's knowledge.

Legal basis and your rights

We process data to provide the service you ask for (performance of a contract), to keep it secure and to improve it with the wrong solutions you report (legitimate interest). Transfers to providers outside your country happen only for these purposes.

Under the GDPR and Turkey's KVKK you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing. Deleting the app removes the data on your phone; server-side counters delete themselves within 2 days. To have your reports deleted: info@testanbul.com.

Changes

If we update this policy we will change the date on this page and announce important changes in the app.
